YEH Ting Hao

Yeh holds Master of Fine Arts from the Centre of Arts and Technology, Taipei National University of the Arts. His works showing the relationship between sound and visual also participated in many Taiwan sound scene such as TranSonic, Lacking Sound Festival. He is one of the very few Taiwanese artists who are capable of image programming, post- production and animation.

Avsluta (Lucie Štěpánková)

Avsulta is a London-based Czech-born electro-acoustic composer, improviser and sound artist. A recent graduate from Sound Arts and Design bachelor programme at the London College of Communication and a great admirer of contemporary classical, experimental and dance music, her practice is a genre-fluid journey through deep listening situations, sonic abstractions, dream sequences and pulsing layers of ambiance.

LTY Lai Tsung-yun, curator of Lacking Sound Festival, presenting a sampling of audiovisual interactive praxis, piecing together largely formless images and field recordings of eccentricity and frenzy. Chaining altogether mixed noises and oversampling test tones, his sound experiment provides listener a profound dip into the enigmatic soundscape.

Sheryl Cheung

Sheryl Cheung experiments with the idea of the body as an instrument that is continually played by affects. Like an open, metabolic body, her sound palette is vulnerable and harsh at the same time. Sheryl works between experimental music, abstract scoring and writing to explore a materialist understanding of power, emotion and moral order. Her recent research focuses on sound and medicine through the perspective of Chinese ontology.

Kate Carr

Carr has been investigating the intersections between sound, place, and emotionality both as an artist and a curator since 2010. During this time she has ventured from tiny fishing villages in northern Iceland, explored the flooded banks of the Seine in a nuclear power plant town, recorded wildlife in South Africa, and in the wetlands of southern Mexico.

Suren Seneviratne (b. 1986) AKA My Panda Shall Fly is a Sri Lankan born multidisciplinary musician and sound artist. Trained at Goldsmith’s University London, Seneviratne has released music on international record labels and performed across Europe at platforms like Tate Modern, Barbican, NTS, Boiler Room & more. Recent sound design work includes Gucci, Novation & Google Daydream VR.
