I was by the seaside this week for work, so I had to take the opportunity to try out my new hydrophone. But while the MiniDisc player did record the mic swaying about in the water, it still didn't record the sound of water like I had hoped. I think the DIY hydrophone is either broken or wasn't made properly in the first place.
I decided to work with the recording anyway and manipulate it using the Goldwave audio editor and I wanted to see if I could come up with a simple approximation of water.
